Like the rest of the service staff, Travis grew up riding and working on motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles. Trained at the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona Beach, Florida, Travis previously worked in the Service department at Privateers' sister shop, ProCycle, in Dartmouth. A licensed service technician, he assumed the Service Manager role at Privateers Harley-Davidson® when the shop opened in December 2003. He currently rides a 2005 Buell® Lightning® CityX XB9SX.
"Boomer" joined our team in early 2008. A native north-end Haligonian, Ed has worked in the motorcycle business since 1976. He says he started because he couldn't afford to pay somebody to fix his bike. Ed is the proud dad of son Sammy Ray and his pastimes include kayaking, mountain biking and music. He looks forward to making your ownership experience positive and helping solve any problems you may be having with your motorcycle.
Felix is a certified Harley-Davidson® Master Service Technician and owns a flashy diamond ring and watch to prove it. Felix originally trained for his Technician diploma at Fairview College in Alberta in 1986 but has now added 13 years of professional Harley-Davidson® training and extensive experience to his skill set. Felix is the proud owner of a Buell® M2 Cyclone®.
Ed is a vintage motorcycle buff and the proud owner of a 1942 WLC Harley® motorcycle that was originally manufactured for the Canadian Military. This year he was very happy to add a 2004 FXD Super Glide® to his motorcycle collection. Ed began his Service Technician career in 1991 when he was awarded his diploma from Fairview College in Alberta and worked in many shops across Canada before settling here at Privateers.
Dave is a licensed motorcycle mechanic who started working on bikes in 1976. He is experienced in all aspects of motorcycle repair. Currently joining our team at Privateers, Dave is highly regarded in Nova Scotia's bike community. Dave's passions include Drag Racing and Hockey.
Ralph has been working on motorcycles since 1982 and has been riding bikes for over forty years. He has been a welcome addition to Privateers since 2004. In their free time, Ralph and his wife enjoy family time and love to ride their Harley® motorcycles.
